Move deep into the beautiful wilderness of north-eastern South Africa with an exhilarating visit to the 14,000 hectare Edeni Game Reserve near Kruger National Park. Here you will encounter the 'big boys of nature', the elephant, rhino and buffalo, and you may very well encounter leopard, cheetah and lion. Edeni Game Reserve is a must for those who want the opportunity to ride among and track the Big Five. The reserve is home to elephant, rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest, eland, gemsbok, kudu, nyala, hippo, crocodile and a wealth of bird and plant life. The Drakensberg mountains provide the backdrop to the reserve, which features various ecosystems including open plains, koppies and woodland. Three rivers cross the reserve and provide a lifeline for the abundant flora and fauna.Great care has been taken to assure the safety of riders and horses at Wait A Little. This is one of the reasons why the reserve will only accommodate four riders at a time. 
You will ride horses used to working in a predatory environment. All the horses at Wait A Little are forward-going and well-schooled, sure-footed and agile.The support team on the reserve are second to none, and your hosts Philip and Gerti Kusseler are on hand to ensure that no detail is overlooked. During your stay here you will enjoy comfortable accommodation of a high standard, which remains in keeping with the bush environment. This region is host to a great variety of birds, animals and trees, making it a very popular location for wildlife studies. A resident research team at Wait A Little studies the behaviourism of the lion. During your stay, you may enjoy the rare opportunity to spend some time with the team, learning more about this magnificent animal.If you want to experience riding in the company of the Big Five a stay at Wait A Little is not to be missed. We recommend that your itinerary includes a two or more night stay to get the most out of this leg of your trip.

This destination is not suitable for novice riders, and group numbers are restricted to a maximum of four.
